Mr. Lustig, one of our music faculty here at MAC, has just returned from leading Bach Fest at his alma mater, the University of Cambridge. During the week long festival, he oversaw four concerts of J.S. Bach’s music in the span of one week. Some of the works during the festival included Bach’s b-minor orchestral suite, the coffee cantata, a motet, clavier übung III (for organ), c-minor violin sonata with harpsichord, the third cello suite, and the d-minor toccata for harpsichord. The festival ended with Mr. Lustig conducting Bach’s Mass in B minor, BWV 232 with over sixty musicians.
